What does DBE mean?
QCA is a for-profit small business enterprise that is at least 51% owned by one or more individuals who are socially and/or economically disadvantaged. In the case of a QCA, we are a corporation, solely owned and operated by Sharlene Lairscey. Sharlene owns 100% of QCA's stock and she manages and controls QCA's daily business operations.
What does MBE mean?
A minority business enterprise is an American term which is defined as a business which at least 51% is owned, operated and controlled on a daily basis by one or more American citizens of the following ethnic minority classifications: 1) African American 2) Asian American 3) Hispanic American 4) Native American. Sharlene comes with a Hispanic American background.
What does SBE mean?
Independently owned and operated, QCA is organized for profit and is not dominant in its field. Depending on the industry, size standard eligibility is based on the average number of employees for the preceding 12 months and on sales volume averaged over a 3-year period. QCA currently qualifies as a small business enterprise throughout the United States of America.
What does WBE mean?
I am woman, hear me roar. Basically, it means that the contribution of capital and/or expertise by the woman business owner is real and substantial. The woman business owner must direct management, policy, fiscal and operational matters. She must also be able to perform in the area specialties practiced by the firm. Sharlene Lairscey is a hands on manager serving from a grass roots level to Project Principal and in all areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
