QCA selected for Central Florida

QCA was selected to provide full service Public Information services for a Highway and Bridge Structural Design project in Volusia County. Teamed with engineering consultant Comprehensive Engineering Services, Inc, QCA’s Central Florida team is expected to begin activities soon.

QCA will handle Public Involvement which includes, but is not limited to Community Awareness Plans, Notifications, Mailing Lists, Modification Letters, Public Meetings and more.

This project is an intersection improvement project to include the follow:

  • Add a right-turn lane from southbound SR5 (US1) onto westbound Reed Canal Road
  • Add a left-turn lane from eastbound Reed Canal Road onto northbound SR5 (US1)
  • CES will construct an island on northbound SR5. A pond will also be constructed
  • All Curb Ramps will meet ADA regulations
  • Mast Arm structures will replace the existing pole signals
  • Milling and Resurfacing will also be included
