QCA is very proud to announce that we are a finalist amongst 26 other great companies in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's Healthiest Employers 2011.
QCA has dedicated 2011 to being a “Healthier, Happier You”. Through research, we have seen that a healthier employee makes a more productive employee, so QCA has implemented several health initiatives this year. Not only do we fully support our employees when they decide to take on marathons and triathlons, but our President, Sharlene Lairscey provided a personal trainer to visit our corporate office once a week for a three month BOOT CAMP series. All employees were welcome to participate.
We also create, design and write an insert that is presented with each paycheck full of celebrity health tips and success stories as well as employees tricks of the trade to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
QCA is currently active in a Fitness Challenge encouraging all employees as well as a few clients to gather a team of three to four, and track workouts on a point system. Each member of the team gains one point for every 20 minute interval of non stop activity. This is something that has engaged team building and cohesiveness throughout the company, not to mention some friendly competition.
