On Thursday, August 25, QCA celebrated our 16th Birthday! The corporate office took a moment to gather for lunch and enjoyed some good laughs. President of QCA, Sharlene Lairscey, recently sent out this message to all employees:
"Whether we’ve been “officially” recognized, or not, in the past as a winning workplace, it doesn’t matter because I know I’m surrounded by winners’ companywide each and every day. I’m honored! I’m proud! I’m grateful! And, I’ve enjoyed a remarkable opportunity to build from scratch a culture that reflects our beliefs about what is important, fair and fun. I would have never been able to do this without you.
Over the past 16 years I’ve tried to tailor our practices and policies to the kinds of people that will help our business thrive while trying also to fulfill your personal needs. It’s not always easy. As employees, I just hope you always know that you are appreciated and valued!"
