QCA’s District Three and Florida Bridge and Transportation, Inc. wins the Group 11-06 bridge projects in rural Holmes County, FL. The two bridges that will be reconstructed are Tony Parsons Lane over Sandy Creek Bridge and Arrant Road over Timber Branch Bridge. Examples of construction work to incur, but not limited to on these two bridge projects are:

  • widening a bridge to meet lane/shoulder width requirements
  • replacement of bridge rails
  • strengthening a bridge to increase load carrying capacity to the accepted limits and the replacement of the decks

District Three will be tasked with writing the Community Awareness Plan (CAP), planning and setting up a public meeting by gathering key elected and appointed official contact information, working with Geographic Information System (GIS) to obtain stakeholder information within a 300’ perimeter of the project limits, writing media notifications and of course hosting the public meeting. QCA’s public information officers will maintain constant communication with the affected property owners, tenants and the general driving public of the construction plans and milestones of any anticipated impacts.

QCA is excited to have the opportunity to work with Florida Bridge and Transportation, Inc. on this project. For more information contact QCA's Mellisa McColley at Mellisa@QCAusa.com
