Darren Alfonso is a seasoned communicator with over 20 years of public involvement and community outreach expertise. Mr. Alfonso has extensive experience in media and government relations, preparing media advisories, conflict resolution, public speaking, and facilitating public meetings. Mr. Alfonso has served as a Public Information Officer for The Florida Department of Transportation on over 20 projects within District One since 2008 and maintains an outstanding track record within the District for the work he has performed. In addition, he served as an inspector on numerous FDOT roadway projects from 2006 through 2008.
Mr. Alfonso, a bilingual (Spanish) associate will provide Public Involvement for QCA. Mr. Alfonso’s many years of serving in the capacity of a public information officer combined with his experience as an inspector provide a unique set of attributes that allow him to maximize his effectiveness in communicating construction issues and processes to the public, media, municipalities, and all identified stakeholders.
