posted May 10, 2011 by Teena

Amanda Hopkins provides Administrative/Resident Compliance Services for the SR 267 project in Quincy, FL for the RS&HCS office in Quincy, Florida. Amanda recently had a Construction Contract Compliance Administration (CCCA) field review performed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Contract Compliance Office on April 26 and received no deficiencies. The CCCA review is conducted periodically to determine if a RCS is maintaining project records properly. Proper record keeping is crucial in protecting all field employees’ Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action EEO/AA rights (EEO/AA).

Amanda assures compliance of contractors with the federal-aid requirements including the EEO/AA, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and On- The- Job Training (OJT) requirements. Amanda obtains all pertinent data, conducts frequent and thorough contract compliance reviews and evaluations, maintains complete and accurate files and operates in a consistent and timely manner.

The Equal Opportunity Office has the responsibility for setting policy, issuing guidance, providing technical assistance, and monitoring District compliance actions through District visits and periodic CCCA Reviews. The compliance review procedure provides for continual monitoring of the employment process. Monitoring officials must analyze information to ensure proper completion of procedural requirements and to ascertain the effectiveness of program implementation.

Congratulations Amanda on a job well done!
